摘要

为了研究光学元件对光学系统性能的具体影响，人们采用Zernike多项式作为分析工具对其性能进行评估。文章从光学元件优化方法以及Zernike多项式的理论基础出发，介绍了圆Zernike多项式和环Zernike多项式的概念，并探讨了圆Zernike多项式与Seidel像差的关系及其在波前拟合中的应用；梳理了国内外在光学元件面形优化、结构优化以及系统成像性能优化方面的研究成果，展示了Zernike多项式在这些领域中的作用；分析了影响光学元件优化的关键因素，并指出了这些因素对Zernike多项式优化效果的影响。最后，对Zernike多项式在光学元件优化中的发展趋势进行了展望。
